The Filter Gain menus are prefixed:

CF for CW Filter

sf for SSB Filter

rF for RTTY Filter

The numbers indicate the gain setting in dB. The setting may be changed in 0.5 dB steps, from -5.5 to

+18.0.

To increase the setting, tap the BAND+ button. To decrease it, tap the BAND- button.

If you press the RCL button, you will be taken to the next menu, either a Gain menu or the Main menu for

the current mode. Pressing the STORE button will display the firmware versions of the KDSP2 (see

below) followed by the main menu for the current mode.

The Gain menus available, by mode are:

Mode Gain Sequence

RTTY RTTY

CW Denoiser, CW

SSB Denoiser, SSB

You sequence to the next Gain menu, if any, by pressing RCL. If you are at the last Gain menu, you will

go to the current mode’s Main menu.

Displaying KDSP2 Firmware Revision

If you press the STORE button in any GAIN menu, you will see the firmware revisions of the DSP and

KDSP2 controller. It will look like this:

dsp 03.16

which indicates the DSP Flash firmware version is 3.16, followed two seconds later by

CtL 03.00
